Try to obtain the Starhorse's Favor buff to make these objectives easier. It'll give you regenerating Heavy ammo for the next encounter. You can obtain it right after the first encounter by making a perfect jump with the gravity lift and beating the subsequent platforming puzzle. If you wait for the half-circle anchored to the right of the platform to line up with a rotating half-circle, you'll always make the j
Destiny’s reliance on armor mods is starting to become an issue. It has been a growing pain that you need certain mods to even attempt endgame content—notably Protective Light and Champion mods. Champion mods always go on your arms, so the unique ability-centric mods that typically go there are seldom used. It’s hard to justify using Impact Induction when all endgame content has two Champion types present.
Unfortunately, Strange Favor makes Gambit Infamy look charitable by comparison. Increasing your Strange Favor rank is a serious grind, one that only dedicated players are going to finish. In this guide, we'll cover what Strange Favor is, every way to increase your Strange Favor rank, and the rewards you can expect from this rather lengthy gr
In a recent This Week at Bungie blog post , Bungie revealed that Masterworked weapons would no longer generate Orbs of Power. Instead, players will now have to install an armor mod on their helmet to re-enable this functionality on some __ guns, determined by damage type. Does your loadout use Void and Solar weapons? You’ll need to give up not one but two mod slots in your build. Like using Kinetic weapons too? Enjoy the compromise. While this does allow Exotics without catalysts the ability to generate Orbs, this change perpetuates an issue that’s been plaguing Destiny for nearly a year: mod bloat.
As a Hunter main, it’s been heartbreaking seeing this whole meta shift unfold. I’ve spent dozens of Masterwork materials and hundreds of hours making Hunter builds that excel in PvE and PvP . The worst part is that I’m in a small minority of players that can afford to make such builds. I own every Combat Style mod and have over 300 pieces of high-stat armor in my Vault. I can farm Nightfalls at any time to get Ascendant Shards. Very, very few players can say the same. Yet even a player like myself seriously struggles to make Hunters stand out from their Warlock and Titan contemporaries. I can’t imagine how casual players get by .
Since the start of Shadowkeep two years ago, the best way to grind is by completing bounties on the Moon. Here you can spend countless hours running through the same Lost Sectors and Public Events over and over to make minor progress towards your next Artifact Power level. You’ll reach the minimum requirement of 1345 once you hit level 150 on the battle pass, but you’ll have little chance of actually completing a Grandmaster Nightfall at that level. If you really want to participate in Destiny 2 collectibles 2’s endgame activity, you’ll need to reach at least level 250, and the only way to get there is to grind it out.
Bungie has the perfect opportunity to fix these issues with the Void 3.0 rework that’s coming with The Witch Queen . Nightstalker is one of the Hunter’s best PvE subclasses, so this rework will either make or break Hunters for the foreseeable future. There’s a chance to revitalize the Hunter with some unique mechanics that set it apart from the other Void subclasses. But this is also a chance for Bungie to homogenize all of the classes even further with class-agnostic Fragments and buffs. For the sake of all Hunter mains, I hope Bungie opts for the former.
When you run Dares of Eternity two times consecutively, you'll start an Activity Streak . While this streak is active, subsequent Dares of Eternity runs will grant an additional +25 Strange Favor per streak bonus . This Activity Streak caps out at five consecutive completions.
