The final mission of Act 2 in Modern Warfare Zombies will have players deploy to an aether-infested region of Urzikstan to test a new device developed by Dr. Jansen, the Neutralizer. If successful, this device could be the first step towards stopping the spread of the aether storm plaguing Urzikstan. Players will need to secure the area in order to airdrop the device into the mission area, and safely escort it through the horde in order to complete Act 2 and take a step closer to stopping the infection in Modern Warfare Zombies .

With the Shepherd story mission active, players will want to deploy to Urzikstan and head to the marked exfil location on their tac-map . The exfil location will be easily identified with the same symbol as the Extraction story mission. Hovering over the icons will provide players with text confirmation of the proper story mission exfil. Players will want to consider acquiring most of the perks (if not all) in preparation for this story mission, which will task players with an extended escort mission requiring defense against a Mega Abomination boss monster. Additionally, FpsAtlas Game Blog at least level 2 Pack-a-Punch and rare or higher rarity is recommended before leaving Urzikstan.

After loading into the Shepherd mission area (a sectioned-off area consisting of Levin Resorts), players will want to quickly depart from the drop helicopter , as the mercenary SAM sites nearby are preparing to fire. Drop to the beach below, and push up the beach through the mercenaries. Beware of the proximity mines scattered across the beach . If players head to the left after leaving the helicopter and approaching the beach, taking cover behind the stone structures, they can easily approach the base of the main resort building where the SAM missiles are located. There may be two or three mercenaries in this area, but if players stick to the left and travel through the concrete structures, they will easily avoid most conflict, with the biggest threat to players while on the beach being the snipers posted on the resort building.

Players should focus on quickly storming the beach and using the ascension line to reach the ledge where the snipers are posted - allowing players to flank and easily take the snipers down. Players can dart up the stairs to the roof over the resort pool from this ledge and grab another ascension line to the very top of the building.

In order to deploy the Neutralizer, players will need to destroy the two SAM missiles on the roof of the resort - players need only approach the missiles and interact to plant the bombs, but the defending Terminus forces on the roof will be relentless . There are explosive barrels littered across the rooftop - these can be a huge advantage to players, who can quickly detonate barrels to take out multiple mercenaries . There are rooms on the roof where players can duck inside to get out of the chaos and away from any barrels about to explode too close.

Dispatch the mercenaries and push towards the missiles - once a bomb is planted, players should quickly move out of the blast radius to avoid losing armor plates. When both SAM missiles are destroyed, the helicopter will approach with the Neutralizer to be air-dropped onto the location. Players can parachute from the roof to the drop site - clear out any deployed mercenaries and surrounding zombies to clear the drop site for the Neutralizer. Once the majority of enemies in the area are eliminated, players will receive the updated objective on the left of the HUD to begin the escort mission.

Once players have eliminated all mercenaries and reduced the horde nearby, the Neutralizer will be dropped in at the location marked with red/brown smoke. Approach the back of the Neutralizer and interact with the button on the left to start the escort.
