Many teachers fail do a good job in the classroom because they do not have the ability to maintain a good classroom environment. A teacher must establish and maintain a positive classroom environment from day one. How does a teacher achieve this? From day one, students must learn and understand what the rules are in class. The teacher must reinforce such rules consistently. During the first week of school, the teacher must go over the classroom and school rules every day, making sure students fully understand what is expected of them. Managing classroom behavior starts from day one and has to continue everyday, all day long.
Johnny Lingo opens with a boy running across an unnamed Polynesian island to a Hawaii Five-O type soundtrack. He arrives at the village and announces to the kindly white shopkeeper who owns the island's only store, "He comes, he comes! Johnny Lingo! Johnny Lingo!" The village explodes with excitement.
golden teacher Being creative is both a blessing and a curse. Creatives are often marginalized, thought of as so 'different' that their concepts and ideas are often beyond the scope of most other people. To draw and paint, to write and dream, to create music were not the skills valued in my home as I was growing up. Those skills and talents were not considered useful for a financially secure future. I suspect it can be said by most creatives, that their parents had 'higher hopes' for them than the insecurity of an artists life.
It was 1997.
Some college friends from Newburyport, MA invited me up to relax and take a break from my loss. I went. They asked if I wanted to see a movie, and I said "sure, why not". We drove to New Hampshire as they wanted to see a new Jack Nicholson movie "As Good As It Gets". I enjoy his movies so figured I would at least be entertained, in spite of the depression and continued writers block I was experiencing.

Or as we sit in circles on pillows we may listen or share the stories of our lives -- or might get in touch with deep seated feelings. Others may temporarily doze off.
golden teacher growkit Nothing bugs these types of students more than unfair punishment and the sceptre of a 'teacher's pet'. Therefore, make sure you deal equally with all students committing the same 'offence'. Don't bring past history or reputation in to your dealings with students in a new class or year. Tell the class every student begins in your class with a 'clean sheet'. You will not remember or seek to find out their 'reputation' unless they give you cause to do that.
golden teacher Sometimes, it is better not to react strongly to or to pretend that you did not hear a rude comment directed at you. Here are some replies that I use to try to diffuse the situation before it escalates.
golden teacher golden teacher This experience in nature is a far cry from my usual surroundings in the City of L.A. Sometimes huge wall length reflective mirrors are exposed by withdrawn curtains. The room seems to double in size and the outside lighting adds a unique dimension. A beam of light shines in stirring the room. There is an old finely tuned antique classy black piano in one corner of the immense space and in the opposite corner a wonderful stereo system -- music is playing softly but will change tempo radically several times in the next 45 minutes. Sometimes a rug, soft mats or pillows cover the entire smooth shiny wooden floor.
Finally, after you recruit and teach you will certainly want to repeat. Top income earners are ones who are able to teach others to do what they do. Therefore you are promoting duplication. When you are a network marketing success your team will be full of people who 'recruit, recruit, recruit', teach, and repeat. When others around you find success, your check grows by leaps and bounds.
